this lovely virgin velvet ribbon was a gift from the woman who i have been getting all my beautiful ribbon from.....it is just begging for colori've never dyed velvet before.... today i experimented with a couple of teas and juice
YERBA MATE turned it a lovely pale yellow
INDIA SPICE CHAI.....a soft golden color
GRAPE JUICE....beautiful muted purple
next i think i'm going to try coffee and some sort of red berry juice....
maybe you can dye it with the juice from beetroots? that is deep red.
